Once you have purchased the class, our administrator will create an account for you for enrollment into the online classroom. This username and password will be sent to you via email. The OUPV (6pak) license allows the transport of up to six passengers on an uninspected (recreational)vessel.
Class is Monday thru Wednesday, 7:30am-4pm. Thursday will be off for review, study, or makeup weather day. Testing Friday from 7:30-4pm. This also includes 30 hour online prep course that must be completed prior to class! This price includes all necessary course materials and testing.
There are 2 options to this class, with waterwork $1315 and without waterwork $1095.
Waterwork is NOT basic boating skills. Waterwork is hands-on manual navigation (old school charts and tools, ETA, deviation, variation, triangulation, trip-planning, etc) without electronics. Also commercial skills training (MOB, safety speech, etc...). This helps tremendously with the Chart plotting test as adults learn best hands-on!
